2009 Tin Wrap-Up

Thanks to all of my friends, old and new, that participated in the 15th Annual Tinman. Special recognition to Cindy, the 2009 Tin Chick, Ricky, the 2009 Tin Man, and Mike Ianucci, Tin Head 2009. And to my friend and TinMan Webmaster, Mark, for being the only one to actually do the Ride-Only TinMan Course. So he earned first and last place.

Big News! I am setting the date right now for Tinman 2010. It’s gonna be October 9th at a new location and another new format!

The new location will be Crystal Cove State Park (aka El Moro), and it will be a triathalon with a swim component at the beach. We are estimating a 10 mile ride, 3 mile run, followed by (drum roll) a short swim (floaties optional). There will also be a ride-only division again. New venue, new Triathalon status for TinMan.
